Engagement - KC Imagery

I am a boudoir photographer based out of the beautiful Bay Area of California. Photography is in my blood. Although I first picked up a camera for myself about 24 years ago, I have had an interest since first seeing my father tinkering with his camera as a young child. I really fell in love with the craft shooting in school, first starting with film. Something about the old school techniques and processes lit my heart aflame. Even as many of these film practices have long since been forgotten by the digital world, I do still shoot film occasionally, and I always incorporate what I have learned shooting film into my digital photography.

Artistic expression is something I take very seriously and I find a lot of joy in capturing naturally beautiful moments with my clients. I work closely with their own creativity to realize their beautiful story in imagery. I am driven by finding the light that makes my clients shine.

In my personal life, I am a retired performer, working mother, wife with two beautiful children and an amazing, supportive husband. Our two dogs and two kids keep us on our toes and are a constant source of inspiration for my personal creative projects. I am an artist at heart, constantly dreaming up my next project while I tend to my garden.

Boudoir photo sessions are more than just putting on lingerie and getting your picture taken. It’s about enhancing the sexiness inside of you. It’s about finding yourself while draped in pretty little garments. It’s about showcasing what intimacy and romance feels like to you.
